Does anyone know of any defraging software for osx. Do we need it?
Thanks

You don't really need it. OS X automatically defrags files less than a certain size (20 MB I think). There are defraggers available (eg. TechTool) but they're not really necessary.
By the way, you should shorten that signature. It's distracting. There's a profile option named Computer, should you wish to put the details in there.

You can also damage your system by defragmenting system files that were never meant to be moved.

I haven't been on in months, it's funny you said that because I did exactly that after posting without reading your reply.
Are there any others besides Tech Tool. I work on huge files (3D, Video, Design) so I kinda want to keep my hard drive defraged. I have files up to 5+ Gigs.
