I've been looking over benchmarks on the latest G5 revisions, specifically at barefeats.com and his Photoshop benchmarks are divided between MP and SP actions, but I can't find anywhere on the site where those are defined. I also tried Adobe's knowledgebase to no avail.
Is it just a difference in the size of the file, or are specific PS actions mapped to multiprocessing?
Thanks

I looked at those same benchmarks. Given that I am not doing PS where time is money - but wanting better performance - I went with the iMAc 20"....

To my knowledge, please feel free to correct me but every action in Photoshop is capable of taking advantage of Dual Processors.
