rosetta performance?

what performance can we expect from rosetta emulated programs? photoshop for example. is there any info on this out there? i use virtual pc sometimes, and the performance is not very good. i know rosetta won't have to do the same work like virtual pc, but anyway are there any comparisons. can you say rosetta on the 1.8 intel runs like native apps on a 1.6 g5?

Please do a search. There are lots of threads with info on this.

it runs ppc native apps at usually around 50% of the fastest imac g5s. to me that' really fast emulation that's going on there.

Rosetta actually seems slow, especially with screen redraw and thats with only VLC and Firefox.:rolleyes:
