IS there an email.....?

Is there an email program out there that will let me do archiving in mass versus one email at a time? Basically I want to save the emails as text or doc files by exporting entire folders from the program.

Currently I use Entourage and moved form Outlook Express when I moved from Netscape Communicator.

I've dabbled in Eudora, find it weird.
