RAM to mp3

Does anybody know an app for OSX, which is capable of converting RAM to mp3 or another format which is playable in iTunes/iPod?

I never heard of RAM as in music (only the hardware)

It's a file format developed by Real Networks, and used in Real Player.

Another solution, could be an app capable of recording whatever sound my Mac makes - does anybody know, if such an app exists??
