What do you use instead of the notes function in Entourage?

Hi

I am trying to move away from using Entourage and onto core Apple programs since I got a .Mac account.

One area I am having trouble replicating is the Notes function in Entourage which I use to store handy bits of info e.g. registration details.
The closest I have seen to replicate this is the Stickies Program - but this does seem a bit clunky.

What applications do you recommend to store short notes?

Do you have Tiger? If so, have you tried the Stickies widget?

Yep stickies is what I use also.
