My partner is a complete music boffin, and has a G4 iBook running panther. But everytime he see's my iMac's iTunes album art screensaver he wants it more and more!
Anyone know of a similar screensaver or anyone know how to get the screensaver from Tiger to shove onto his iBook???
Cheers!

You could possibly copy it from your system on to his but there is no guarantee it will work, if fact I'd be surprised if it did.
It's located under: system < library < screen savers < "iTunes Artwork.saver"

It may use Core Image in which case it wouldn't work

For some reason I can't see any screensavers in that folder? I tried searching with spotlight, but nothing... are they hidden?
Thank you,
Evan

It could be in one of the following directories...
/System/Library/Screen Savers/
/Library/Screen Savers/

Why don't you just upgrade his iBook to Tiger?

I'm 99% sure it does use Core Image (in fact iirc it's a Quartz Composer based screen saver).

Just lend him your Tiger disk and let him do the upgrade. You won't get caught. Sure it's not 100% legit, but if I was a law abiding guy today would ahve been really quite boring.

I recently bought a used iMac, running Tiger. I upgraded to the newest version, but this screensaver is missing. Is there any way to get it back? I've searched google, and the Apple downloads site, but no luck.
Edit: I zapped the PRAM, due to some other issues, and it came back. No clue why. Strange.
