Any app for a popup everytime the song in iTunes changes? Something free preferrabbly. Synergy costs money, and Quicksilver's is right in the middle of the screen and AFAIK you can't move it. also, no transparency

woah, have i got the perfect answer for you.
sizzlingkeys (http://www.yellowmug.com/sk4it/)
I have it running at all times, it's awesome. very customizable hot keys, all that good stuff. plus, a tiny transparent window appears (with album art) whenever the song changes.
(i think this is the first time i've solved someone's issue! yes!)
let me know if you like it!

I was going to recommend Sizzling Keys as well. I haven't found a better piece of software yet.

I recommend a program called "GimmeSomeTune". It's free, has the nice transparent pop-up with all the iTunes information. It also has keyboard shortcuts and a menu bar item. And its free as well. You should check it out.
