iMovie 3 performance on new machines...

To anyone who has got hold of any of the recent hardware releases, i.e. 1GHz iMac, new PowerMac line, 1Ghz Powerbook, 12" Powerbook...

...how does iMovie 3 perform?

I'm currently looking to buy a new Mac, and iMovie 3 performance is very important to me.

I'm not sure why everyone is worried about this. iMovie 3 really doesn't lag all that much behind iMovie 2. On my dual 533 it is up in 4 bounces, and is ready to use (loading all picts and music) after maybe 4 more seconds. Not a big deal at all. And the new machines are bound to be faster.
