Does anyone know of any free ways to make cards on the Mac that works similar to (don't hurt me) Publisher?

I can use Photoshop to make them, but it's a pain.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!
Mike

The Print Shop for Mac.

A program I have used in one version or another on PC for, well, maybe over 10 years. I have it for my Mac, and use it occasionally.

It is a good program that gets the job done, but it really can be annyoing to use unless you are used to it. All in all, it is the best way to make business cards, birthday cards, signs, posters, banners, etc.

EDIT:

Depending on what your definition of free is... this may not be for you. ;)

You can make greetings cards in iPhoto 6 - you can print to PDF onto your own card rather than sending off to Apple to be printed

When I said Free, I meant free as in downloadable for free.

Greeting cards.

I'll ask some of the Mac users at my school tommorrow.

Ragtime Solo (http://www.ragtime-online.com/Content/download_rts_program/download_rts_program.html#EUS)

Give it a whirl. Doesn't cost a bean.

I just downloaded Ragtime and I am trying to make business cards for starters. How can I have my text over top of the back drop (photo) with the text box hidden?? But still have the text show through? Right not there is a white box that surrounds the text I want it gone so the photo shines through behind the text. Any ideas??? Thanks
