im trying to burn an avi movie my friend made on his pc. it has sound when i play it on my imac but when its burned to a dvd with idvd theres no sound? what ami dogin wrong.

Do you have Toast? If you do, I would try burning it with that first...iMovie always sucks for me...I don't even use it anymore....

i tried imovie and toast, toast made wierd lines on my tv and i dont even think i played it long enough to liten for sound

I would try just using Disk Utility just make sure you are creating a .cdr and not a .dmg. Although I'm surprised creating an .iso in Toast isn't working.

hmmmmm
well,
maybe try and convert the file to another type of format with a program like ffmpegX

Could it be a PAL vs. NTSC problem?
