Importing VCD onto Mac.

Hello everybody!

Was wondering is there a software to import VCD (*.dat) into Mac? I've tried direct copy (cut&paste) without avail.

I wanna import those VCDs into the Mac for touchups (with iMovie?).

Is it possible?

I've got this program called VLC, I can only view VCD with it. Not importing it inotthe HDD. The VLC also runs with error. It shows a error dialog box whenever I wanna view a VCD.


Last but not least, just wanna say thanks to you all. You guys has help me a lot as I'm a newly switched (few days to be exect).

Ohh... I'm on 10.2.1 does it matter?

Try VCD Copy X. It copies the .dat files to your HD... It's the only way I managed to do it. As for iMovie editing, I have no idea... I guess you'd have to convert them to DV...
