Hi all, I'm a recent convert to the mac experience so I'm unsure if this is a known issue or it's just me. I have a g3 600mhz ibook with 640 mb ram and a standard cd drive. I'm having an extremely irritating problem; when playing certain audio cds in itunes i get seemingly random pops and crackles of static from the speakers. I've tried turning the error correction on and off and sound enhancer; basically I've fiddled with all the options that i think might effect it. The static is still present with headphones, and when i import it, and play the aacs its still there, as well as when I put them on my shuffle. I'm a fairly savvy user, but since im still new to mac, I'm wondering if theres anything i might have overlooked in my newbieness.
