Hi, I forgot about this, during my time away from MacRumors I found the time to create 3 basic AppleScripts, they are not to great, I only use one of them on a day-to-day basis. Its called "Desktop Sorter" and it basically sorts your desktop into some sort of order :)
It is free and completely open-source so you can make any improvements or modifications you wish.
