I keep on posting messages like this let me know if they are useless:
From macnn:
Reader: QTVR 2.0 coming to OS X?
Marc Ishisaka writes: "I just got an email from Apple Events and they list QTVR 2.0 seminars towards the middle of March. Not a typo! Their web page talks QTVR and OS X!"

that would rock
QTVR 1.0 is already pretty cool, not to mention the app is pretty stabile. I wonder why kind of enhancements theyre going to add

Sorry, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
The "2" is because this is an updated seminar of Nuts & Bolts, not referring to QTVR Authoring Studio 2. There's nobody at Apple working on any QTVRAS updates.
The options for OS X include VR Toolbox's VR Worx 2.1, Realviz's Stitcher 3.1 and a few small apps used to convert or prepare QTVR files such as MakeCubic or CubicConverter.

You forgot to mention 'CubicConnector' which totally works under Mac OS X and supports the latest movie type which (QTVRAS 1.0 doesn't). They've got screenshots and samples and MOVIES showing it spinning around full top & bottom panoramas and objects.

It looks awesome under Mac OS X. I'd buy this, if I knew how to make VRs!

Nonesence, I sent a request in the OSX Feedback for QTVR Authoring in OSX and I expect it. And from APPLE. So we'll see if I get my wish, consumer branded QTVR would be so awsome, especially since many PC digital comeras come with apps that stitch images (although since they hate Apple have no form of 3D viewing).
