Desktop File Replication

I have a G4 PowerBook running 10.2.4. On my desktop, my files will sometimes "clone" and double in number. This doesn't happen to all the files. When I delete one of them, they both delete.

Can anyone help?

ah thats freaky...i dont know what to say...all i would do is either live wit it or reinstall X or start a new user name and see if it happens.

Have you run fsck or Disk Utility?

I re-installed 10.2.4 and it seems okay now...
it was weird as hell though.
