Anyone familiar with limited Mac OSX accounts?

I'm at work and I got someone to install MAMP on my machine, but since I'm using a limited account, he had to add "MAMP.app" to this area under accounts prefs pane that allows me to run it. Now MAMP opens, but I can't actually start the services (Apache, PHP, MySQL). Can he add the entire Applications/MAMP/ folder or what else could I do?

You need to add each application to the list of allowed applications.

Why are you running a non-Admin account? can That be changed? It would make your life easier.
