Hey all,
I have posed this question on macosxhints.com but have not been able to get this problem fixed.
I did an archive and install of os x but when I go to boot using the os x partition I get to the grey screen with the apple, I wait for a few seconds of the wait symbol then a line of code shell prompt shows.
I have done the fsck -y and the partition seems to be ok. I have reset the pram I have the latest firmware installed I cant seem to fix this. I really dont want to loose the stuff on my HD as I have alot of music set up in iTunes and alot to digital pictures. I can back them up but I thought an archive and install would work fine.
Any suggestions?
