I have figured out how to get this to work finally. Maybe I'm behind the boat here, but I got it to work and I am happy now that I don't have to use IE anymore.
First download and install the Shockwave player for IE/OS X. Then go to OmniWeb in the Applications folder or wherever you have it and Show Info. Then click on plugins, go to Add, and add it from Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Shockwave***PPC.
It works for me fine now, altho I do have to tell OmniWeb to identify as IE so website don't complain.
