I noticed that the new MSN photo thingy icon is very similair to Apple's iPhoto.

This is nothing new, they've been doing this for years.

That looks really familiar. Gosh, I wonder where they got that idea? It even has a nice glossy feel to it. They should build a GUI on that theme and call it Fluid or Liquid or something. Maybe they could call it Aquatica! That would be really different.

This just has to be a violation of Apple's trade dress. I mean Christ, enough is enough. You already got our damned GUI. Can't we keep the iPhoto icon for ourselves?

no.

it has three photos in the icon: we have one
it has the words msn: we dont have any text
its camera is the other way around: duh!
<joke>it doesnt scale well to 128x128: ours does

thats three good reasons (in MS' view) and one other that happens to be also true. Nothing will happen - either that or MS will buy another few milion apple shares ....
