Boot Camp questions [Archive]

Hey,
Is it possible to install Bootcamp on an external HD? I have a 250GB external that I'd love to have windows on (rather than on my MacBook) but when I tried to install, my internal disk was te only one that showed up.

Also, if I do install Windows on my MacBook itself, is it easy to get rid of it? I.e. would I have to reformat the entire HD?

I don't think you can..unless someone else knows different.

Dead easy, just run bootcamp again and it'll give you the option to delete the Win partition and restore your mac to the same state it was in before you installed it.

I don't think you can..unless someone else knows different.

Guess you both missed the guide, which pretty much only matters to MB or MP owners...
