epson 1280 printer not workin on OS X!!!

i have the dual 867 mac.
i installed the os x update printer drive for my mac.... and it's not working.

it's printing out blocks instead of type or image....

and then i tried to start up on classic and installed the old printer driver and it is still printing out blocks...

weird thing is it worked couple weeks ago.
i wonder if it's the printer or my mac.....

i need to print out a report tomorrow and i don't know what i do now....

can somebody help??

I have an Epson too, and when i do print, it takes for ever to startup and there are streaks of ink that are made on the right side of the page as if the wheels were covered in ink or something.
