Ok, i promised i searched this before i asked. Anyone know where to get the wallpaper apple features on their site? Like the opera house, the medow on the 20 inch cinema, the road from the old powerbook ad, the space shuttle pic that got pulled. I love those pictures but can never find them. Thanks in advanced.

Have a look on spymac. People usually post the apple desktops there.

I've been wondering about this, too. Where should I look on SpyMac? There's so much in the gallery, it would take forever to go through one by one. Is there a better way?

Your best bet might be to seach for the keyword "Desktop."

I get most of my desktops from there...

go to

gallery>community>desktop backgrounds>search

put in apple into the search box or default or something.

I don't know if those images are 'Apple's' images - they just might be cool images that they've purchased from a stock photo company to use on their website.

And there's no reason to believe that those are the actual images on the screens as they were photographed. I'd wager that they're photoshopped in or at least adjusted.

Oh, almost certainly. Remember how after the Space Shuttle Columbia broke up Apple quickly replaced the shot of the Space Shuttle on the 20-incher on its homepage with something else (Hong Kong, I think)?

I have the background of Tokyo ( the 23'' inch picture) and the mountains view( the 20'' picture). Just PM me and ill email them(or via iChat since im on the Macrumors channel) to you no problem!
