Printing from OS 10.4.8 to shared Windows Vista printer

Thanks to this forum I've got my new Vista machine sharing files with my MacBook Pro and vice-versa. Thanks a ton edesignuk!

Now I am having trouble connecting from my Mac to the printer I have on my Vista machine. Anyone experiencing this kind of issue?

does OSX support your printer? (can u find the name of ur printer in your OSX's drivers list?)

I have the same issue.
Mac OS X 10.4.9 to Windows Vista Home Basic

Samsung ML-4500, printing worked fine when the printer was being shared by Windows XP SP2.

With Vista, I get the following error:Unable to connect to server with the provided password and username. Error: 256

Connecting to this Vista share from Windows XP SP2 works (using the same username and password)
