Fast User Switching -> Virtual Desktops

The "Fast User Switching" looks cool in Panther (though I'd rarely use it) - what I'd like to see happen is adjusting it, so a SINGLE user can use it as a method to switch between virtual desktops... In other words, multiple desktop/dock configurations for ONE user... now THAT would be useful.

Thoughts?

Well you can do that in panther. Diffrent accounts no password and just change the accounts for diffrent "desktops" can you??

The main problem with that method is the user permissions.

I'd like to see this capability, though.

bitfactory hit has an excellent point. as great as the user-switching is, there are tons of people (like me) who are the single user, which negates the whole alure of the cool new cube-thingy. multiple desktops are usefull to all users and purchasers of macs and puting all of your different workspaces on the sides of a cube would be very nifty.
