my internet doesn't work..

I have a feeling there is something wrong with my internet connection....

Every time i turn on my macbook pro, it takes 4 minutes before i can connect to the internet!! this is both with ethernet cable and wi-fi....
Can somebody tell me what the problem could be ??

You need to provide more details. Carrier? Router? Modem? do you have any other computers that can connect quickly?
