Has anyone seen the New Apple menu in Panther? In Railheaddesigns tour of panther there is a screen shot in which only "force quit finder" appears. Do we lose our "force quit..." or what?

One possibility is that the person who took the screenshot was holding down Shift when they pulled down the menu, so the usual "Force Quit..." changed to "Force Quit Finder..."--like how Close Window changes to Close All in the Finder File menu when you hold down Option.

Just a guess, though.

(edited to change the word "Control" to "Shift")

Since the key shortcut shown is shift-command-option-esc, it stands to reason that the force quit... command still exists, by way of command-option-esc if not in menu form... and most people use the combination anyway...

Oops, yeah, that was shift that was in there (along with cmd-option-esc), not control...sorry.
