I know, I know, everyone loves the clear private date feature in firefox to cover their tracks. Unfortunately, for parents who want to monitor their kid's computer usage this is not a great feature. I find parental controls to be too limiting and was wondering if there was a way to disable this feature using interface? Thanks!

Richard

Rumour has it that there is an addon so that you can remove the option from the menu. I have no idea what it's called though.

https://addons.mozilla.org

try

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/710

or

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1911

I don't think you have any real alternative. Even Safari has private browsing features.
