When leopard comes out I understand that it will be 64 Bit, but doe the machine you use have to be a 64 bit something or other to completely take advantage of it? And 64 bit or 32 bit has nothing to do with 32 bit colors in System Profiler right?

The equipment does have to be 64 bit. If the processor and chipset are not 64 bit, Leopard will run at 32 bit. The latest processors on the iMac, MacBook Pros, and Power Macs are the only ones on full 64 bit processor architecture.

Both of the systems in your signature (G6? Heh) support 64-bit.

Thats what I figured... but I did not know where to find them for sure. But if the applications you are running are not 64 bit then it just runs at 32 bit correct? And if that is true how many apps out there will be 64 bit ready in october?
And G6... yes hahaha. How would you put it?
