I can't seem to get Internet Sharing to work. I want to share a connection from my eithernet port over Airport for my hotel room, but after I set up the network no one can connect to internet from the wireless (they can connect to the network but can't browse any pages). Why is this? I have turned on Personal Web Sharing like the pop up message instructed me to, the firewall is off and my settings look like this...

Are the computers connecting directly to your machine's AirPort (ad-hoc) or are they connecting to a different wireless network?

They are connected to the network created by the MacBook (MacBook Internet).

Weird. Is AppleTalk enabled on AirPort or ethernet for the MacBook? Enable it on AirPort if it's not already... :)

Yeah, it's turned on for Airport, no luck.

That's strange, I've used Internet Sharing a lot in the past and haven't had any problems like what you're describing. What does your network status say on your computers that are trying to connect? Do they have a green bubble indicating you should be able to connect?

Green bubble next to Eithernet and Airport.

This is really quite weird. Do you have any security apps installed that may include a firewall or some sort of block?

Nope, nothing. Just the OS X firewall, but it's turned off.
