Quick WoW question

Hi there, I've got my friends copy of WoW and I want to use it for a trial. Can I open a trial A/C using this disk or do I have to get my own? His account has been suspended as he's no longer using it but I don't want to pay to activate his account so the question basically is can I open a trial account on this disk? Cheers Paddy.

the only thing that counts for blizz is your login name and password so the machine / installation doesn't matter at all.
