Nintendogs not working please help.

I am wondering if you can please help my sister with something.

We have a Japanese copy of nintendogs for nintendo DS, that all of a sudden wuld not let you do anything. I will let her explain...

"I reset my game then all of a sudden when I got a new dog and I was trying to set his name, and then I set his name, and it would not let go into my inventory and it would not let me take him for a walk etc. He also can't recognize his name so we have to reset it all the time. We are getting messages in Japanese that we can not understand.

Please help me figure it out"

It's been a while, but it sounds like you need to say the name into the mic until the dog recognizes it after you set the name.

Then you'll need to do some other training actions, because whenever you reset Nintendogs, it assumes you're new to the game.

Why not pick up an english version?
