That's nice. They're making a great app even better. And I've always wanted Sherlock to give me TV schedules.

i always thought sherlock had the potential to edge out watson and it looks like it may finally be doing it.

Arn: I guess we know what inspired that sherlock poll :)

you can get traffic, how sweet is that.... just sucks that it only works for 11 cities :(

(most of which are in California BTW)

the bass tabs and guitar tabs however, are quite nice.

all of those have been available for a good while. www.sherlockers.com has a huge selection and there are a few other sites that offer third party channels. most of them have been posted on vt for goodness sake.

i forget where i found it, but i have an alpha RSS channel that works much like www.xulchannels.com for mozilla, but it is very rough. i donwloaded the sherlock sdk with the hope of creating a full-featured RSS browser for sherlock, but the basic channel template itself will not even load.

It's about time. Other than speed, this was what always kept me wanting Watson. I downloaded a bunch of the extra Sherlock channels, but so many of them I downloaded never worked that I gave up and haven't used Sherlock (or Watson for that matter because I didn't buy it) in months. I'm glad to see that these will be "stock" channels now. Thanks for the heads-up arn!

Regards,
Gus

many of those dont look to useful, depends on the person. im still thinking watson is better for the mean time. but since sherlok has gotten much faster in panther watson may need to worry.

Many of these channels are available now. They are third party channels. That's why in the screen shot they appear in the Other Channels category. The good news is that this means a better interface for sherlock. If you want to get a hold of some of these channels I have found them at:
http://www.sherlockers.com/channels.phtml
and
http://sherlock3.homeunix.com/cgi-bin/channels.pl

Hmm. Tried both the weather and the TV third-channel add-ons and neither of them seemed to work.
