i like it! it's ugly, but i like it. makes me realize how lame the Dock actually is. thanks for the link.

Does anyone know of any similar apps that offer the same functionality as this, but look a little nicer?

I personally never saw the point of the Launcher in OS 8/9...it was the first thing I completely deleted from my system once I learned more about Mac OS after becoming a switcher. It just never made sense, especially with the Application switcher. But, it seems like that looks a lot like Drag Thing, too.

ugh...i hated the launcher...and still do.

i'll stick with dockextender from codetek (http://www.codetek.com)
