Odd problem with internet

I have a strange problem: It seems i can't access some sites, around 20 % of all sites and i have no idea why. I can access them on other computers in my network (including my iphone) so it has somethign to do with my macbook. First i thought it was something with safari but the same sites cannot be accessed with firefox.

Anyone that knows anything about this problem?

reinstall the OS... sorry, that is the only thing I can think of right now :(

try deleting your cache and prefs. and 'reset' safari.

Remember he said Firefox didn't work either. Reseting safari won't change that.

I don't know if I have had that problem specifically, but

at home my wife has a powerbook, I got a newer macbook, and my kids have a mini and emac...

sometimes thier wireless signal is great and pages load quickly while my signal will drop and or it takes forever for a page to load, not all the time, but it can be annoying
