Help!!! (changed my user home folder)

I changed my user home folder to another name and i sorta lost everything but not really. Now i have question marks all over my dock but I still have all the apps in other user folder still and the library preferences. How do i revert everything back to normal since I lost all my bookmarks and all?

I am sorry for asking something so frequently but I sorta understand how to do it. But I am scared to do what it tells me to fix this problem now.. lol


1.In the Finder, go to the /Users folder.
2.Locate the new home directory, which bears the users' short name.
3.Add "_new" to the new home directory's name.
4.Rename the old home directory to the user's correct short name.
5.Log out and back in with the affected user account.

They should probably just create a sticky at the top of the Mac OSX thread for this. I can't say I haven't asked it once.
