Applescript to fill out iTunes fields based on filename

I was wondering if anybody knows if it'd be possible to accomplish the following with an Applescript, and (if it is) if you could guide me or direct me to somewhere that would guide me through setting it up?

I was hoping to automate tagging of some video files. Would there be anyway to set up a script that says something along the lines of

IF "Random Phrase" is in the filename, set the iTunes TV Show metadata field to "Random Phrase" and apply album art as "Random Album Art file"

I'll start you off: if you need to edit MP4 metadata, use AtomicParsley.
