View Full Version : Tabbed browsing problem

I seem to have a problem with tabbed browsing. Everytime i open a new tab to check out a product or a link from a website, it refuses to close when I click on the "x" to exit out of the tab. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be. Thanks

yeah are you using safari beta, firefox, or something else

Have you tried resetting safari?

I downloaded a few updates. One was a safari update. maybe it was the problem. But now it seems to be fixed, I was browsing racingjunk.com for muscle cars, and tabbed browsing seemed to be on the fritz. But it seems to be working now. I also tried to reset safari, but it didnt work. maybe it was just a fluke. Thanks for your help.

Hmmm, interesting. You might google around if it happens again; it's been so long since I used Safari 1.x that I don't remember whether issues like this were typical or not. Also Safari 1.3.x in particular had a very short active life, as it came out right before Tiger brought Safari 2.
