Perhaps they're working round the globe and doing whatever theyre doing in the same order as Leopard will be released.
I just want to know now :(

What time is it in Australia now. I'm guessing the UK Store will go down at around 1pm(ish) today or 9am(ish) US East coast time. They usually do on a Tuesday.

This has to be the real deal. Even if it isn't there when the store comes back on it will have all the prep work done ready for a switch flip. Today is the day we find out.

So will every site come back online simultaneously? Or will us Aussies be the first to pre-order online?
Q: does anyone know how long it'll take before my free copy comes via ADC?

I've been a long time reader of this site, decided to finally register and get in on this excitement! Noticed the Australian store down, let's hope it comes back in the next hour or so with Leopard pre-orders!
The fact that it's happening early in the morning in the US suggests Apple want people to wake up to a BIG surprise.

If its just Leopard. Apple have only taken the Stores down to enable pre-ordering. The home page and Leopard pages will also get updated to reflect the announcement.

Why do I have a feeling that this is going to be somewhat anti-climactic. Though I do hope I'm wrong.
Bump of the Macbooks would be most welcome as I'm in the market for one and have to buy one within the next 2 weeks..... though I guess it's highly unlikely that they'd release new hardware before an OS update.

"If you buy a qualifying Mac between October 1, 2007 and December 29, 2007, and it does not include Mac OS X Leopard, you're eligible to get Leopard after it's released for just £5.95."
December 29th??? If I buy a new Mac after October 26th I'd want it for free
