My daughter (university student) has an iMac of the pre OS-X variety. She needs to reinstall her system software, but her installation CD's have bit the dust. Does anybody know where I can find System 9+ for her?
Cheers

Does she have the System Software Restore CD's?? She could use those and then update to the newest OS 9.x afterword. I tried to see if any of the major Mac retailers still sold OS 9.x, but I couldn't find any in my searches. That however doesn't mean that some obscure site doesn't sell it...:)

Nope, apparently none of her disks work ... probably tossed in a convenient drawer for a couple of years. Anyhow, I've searched high & wide ... can't find any source. Seems a shame to ditch a perfectly good computer for the want of an operating system disk. Sigh!
