Sync, Sync, Sync

Is there something drastically wrong with iSync. My laptop will not allow me to sync, saying it is disabled. When I go to preferences it acts as if I have never synced this computer before and warns me another computer already has the same name. Is this happening to others out there, and if yes, what do I do to fix it?

If you're referring to .Mac Sync it might still be down for scheduled maintenance. If you're trying to sync with a portable device, your iSync conduit may not be compatible with Leopard.
