Chinese input via wacom tablet

My friend bought a wacom tablet for the iMac LCD for chinese input using a British OSX 10.2.6

We turned on traditional chinese input and ink, but only roman characters appear. can anyone help?

I seem to remember something I read recently that said Ink only supports English, French and German - I'll see if I can find proof...

iirc the context of the original quote regarding supported languages was to do with enhanced Ink APIs in Panther so I don't think that you will get Chinese Ink in Panther. You must be on Jaguar already!

I was just wondering will further updates provide support for tablet input in chinese , either a later version of panther or Jaguar.
