I'm soon to buy my first Macbook (white, maybe black, 2.2, and will up the memory to 4gb)
but can anyone tell me the basics of running windows (i hope to run Vista, don't critisize that choice), and which facility to actually run Windows would be best (as i've heard of about 3 different programmes/ways of doing so)
thanks

Use Boot Camp to run both (choose on start up which operating system to use) or Fusion to run both at the same time. To legally use Fusion, you will need one of the top end Vista versions. Parallels is like Fusion, but not as stable in my opinion.
They are both follow-the-simple-steps installations. With Fusion, Vista will be slower, and 3D applications will often not work. It is MUCH better to use XP if you follow this method.

so i just got my awesome new 20" iMac with leopard on it, and i did so with the intention of using bootcamp to put windows on the drive so i can continue playing video games with my friends.
so as i'm reading the 26 page instruction guide it printed out, i notice that i cannot even use my legally purchased copy of windows - because its one of the earlier discs that does not have SP2 in/on it.
Nor does it say I may install, and update to SP2.
Nor does it say that my upgrade copy of XP will work, I must in fact have a "Full" install copy.
So, basically - am I screwed? Screwed by Microsoft again, via Apple?
I think I've been more screwed by Apple here this time.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!
I miss my games :(
