windows iPod songs to iBook

Hi all,

How do I get the songs off of my windows format iPod onto my iBook? I want to get them all (500+) at one time, and then reformat the iPod to Mac, and use iTunes to its fullest. And I am looking for something free of course. CLI is ok too.

problem with that is it doesn't do AAC.
