Dreamweaver '04/Safari conflict...

hey guys,
i've never designed a web page before, so i have a newbie-ish question...

safari doesn't seem to accept dreamweaver's background image repeat tag. no matter what i do, pages preview in safari with the background image apearing once. opera and (cough, spit) IE work fine. any ideas?

Have you checked that the page is valid HTML and CSS (if you're using it)?

the page validates fine (thanks for the link, BTW). i have all kinds of browser-chheck errors (mostly for Netscape 4.0), and i checked the code line by line and the using the tag inspector, and everything seems to be right...

i'll upload the page tonight and put the link in tomorrow.
