Jsut Got a new iMac, Updater won't work..

Hi everyone. I just got a new iMac for Christmas [ :) ]. But, when the automatic updater thing popped up, and said to restart, it restarted my computer. But, it gets stuck on the configuring installation part. I had to hold down the power button to turn off the computer. What should I do?

How long did you leave it, it can take a while...

I suggest you try rebooting the machine, if it loads the setup assistant, then hard restart it again.
