Basic Question

What do I look for on the games I already have to see if they work on the Mac Pro? I would guess that most of what my wife and I have will not work.

Some say Windows/Mac. I don't know. Longest Journey 2 is one I would like to load. Lost it when the PC went south. Thanks.

Can you provide more information? Are these OS X games? Are these OS 9 games? Are these windows games? The best bet would be to look for them on macgamefiles.com to see if they have a universal patch (if you're looking to run them on OS X and not xp).

Thanks for the lead. I am just coming off PC and many of the games now say Windows/Mac. I believe that these games are for the Power Mac when the "Mac" reference is given. Mine is the Mac Pro and Intel Quad Xeon. Just trying to get a handle on what we have that will work on this new machine without a windows partition. "Boot Camp, "parallels" etc. I don't want Windows on this machine in any configuration. Thanks very much for answering.
