Hi there. I'm selling my 17" iMac to a friend and will buy a new 20" iMac after Macworld. I'm running Leopard on the 17" and use Time Machine with an external hard drive. I wonder how to restore my data, passwords, users etc. to the new one I'm buying. Will every Safari passwords and applications run equally on the new Mac? Note that first I'm selling this one and later I'll be buying the 20" one.
Thanks!

you'll be fine. When you start up your new imac, it will ask you if you want to transfer your data from an old mac. One of the options will be from a time machine backup. Just select that button, hook up your external, and the migration assistant will take care of the rest.
