Software Update does not Install

Hello

The MacBook Software Update 1.1 for Mac OS X 10.5.1 (the 768KB one) does not install on my 1st gen MacBook.

Every time I open the Software Update it is available for installation. I click on Install, the system logs me off and the installation starts. After the reboot, the patch is still available for download.

Anyone else experienced this issue?

Do you have it in your "installed updates" log?

Try downloading the update directly from the Apple support site. See this thread for related info.
