Slow developers are slow.
I'd settle for a building-towers-from-iPhoto-library screen saver that the early core animation demos showed...

I'd love that too! Maybe with the option to use album art like in that commercial.
or why didn't apple include that little cool core-animation video demo that steve showed during wwdc07 on leopard launch?
that would be great to look through movies.

I was hoping Delicious Library 2 would come quickly after Leopard and blow us away. The preview looks good, but the app is nowhere to be found.

that would be great to look through movies. That video demo more then likely used a lot of processing power even with Core Animation.

That would be awesome. Especially as a screensaver.
Core Animation made me decide to switch, mainly. I watched a video on Youtube about a forum viewing App called Hijack that's in development and I just wanted it... and to get it, I needed Leopard.
We need more! Why aren't companies like Adobe working on animating their apps? I WANT ANIMATION! lol. Just imagine things wizzing around Photoshop :P But it would be cool even if there were just some basic fades or slides... Come on, developers!

core animation is candy and cool, but it will sacrifice the app usuability and multitasking on pro applications. also they will cost more to developers in time and money to make their counterparts without core animation.
